What we need to engineer your clothing bag
Provide these details at the beginning of the project. They allow us to recommend a suitable material, construction and production route instead of quoting an incomplete specification.
Bag dimensions
Specify width, length and any flap or gusset. We can help add practical clearance for insertion, sealing and packed-product thickness.
Material & sustainability goal
Choose compostable PLA/PBAT, PCR recycled PE, frosted CPE, glassine, FSC paper or plant fiber based on protection, appearance and environmental claims.
Thickness & performance
Define the required feel, transparency, tear resistance and load. Heavier or sharp accessories may need reinforced film or protective construction.
Closure & bag structure
Select self-adhesive flap, resealable zipper, destructive shipping seal, heat seal, open top, drawstring, hanger opening or protective bubble lining.
Printing & artwork

APPAREL-SPECIFIC ENGINEERING
Define fit, airflow and labeling before sampling
A clothing bag that looks correct on screen can still slow down a packing line or crease the garment. These four decisions should be recorded in the approved specification and checked with the actual folded product.
- Usable internal size
- Measure the folded garment at its widest and thickest points. Allow working clearance for insertion and closure without making the pack unnecessarily loose.
- Air release
- Confirm whether vent holes or micro-perforation are required for carton compression. Record hole size, quantity and position so they do not expose or mark the garment.
- Warning and traceability copy
- Approve suffocation warnings, country-specific language, size code, SKU, barcode, batch reference and disposal instructions as part of the artwork.
- Packing-line trial
- Test bag opening, garment insertion, adhesive or zipper closure, scanning, carton loading and unpacking before authorizing mass production.
